Sally Wainwright's "extraordinary" period drama Renegade Nell has found a new streaming home in the UK – and it's free.
Penned by the Happy Valley writer, Renegade Nell debuted on Disney+ last March, before being cancelled by the streamer after just one season.
All episodes of critically-acclaimed historical fantasy series will be made available to stream for free on ITVX, where you can catch the show from Sunday, 22 June.
Taking on the titular role of Nell Jackson, Derry Girls actor Louisa Harland headed up an all-star cast which included Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed.

The synopsis reads: "Nell Jackson finds herself framed for murder and unexpectedly becomes the most notorious outlaw in 18th-century England; but when a magical spirit called Billy Blind appears, Nell realizes her destiny is bigger than she ever imagined."

Despite being cancelled, the show proved popular among critics and it currently has a score of 87% on Rotten Tomatoes from 37 critic reviews.
What She Said wrote that the series was "a terrific femme-tastic action series, about a woman of, wit, humour, and joy, and possessed of extraordinary fighting skills. Triumphant, yet dramatic and funny, with a deeply feminist heart!"
Empire said of season one: "With a bold premise and an array of fantastic performances, Renegade Nell is an action-packed, fairy tale-tinged swashbuckler with something to say. Stand and deliver!"

The Australian had this to say: "Who could blame Sally Wainwright for wanting to write something so fizzingly fun after all the trauma in Happy Valley?"
Back when the cancellation was announced, Disney+ released a statement, telling Deadline: "We’re incredibly proud of the world created by Sally Wainwright and lead director Ben Taylor."
Renegade Nell will be available to watch for free on ITVX from Sunday, 22 June. It is also available on Disney+.
