Death in Paradise has dropped the first trailer for season 14.
The BBC series is due to return next week, introducing new DI Mervin Wilson (Don Gilet) in proper as he settles into Saint Marie.
However, the newly-released teaser promises that while there "may be a new detective in town" it is "business as usual" on the Caribbean island.

Despite Mervin's reluctance and initial hopes of heading back home to the UK, we get hints that the new DI does "like it here" after all as he gets stuck into the cases.
The clip then ends with a bombshell, as Mervin suggests to Commissioner Selwyn Patterson (Don Warrington) that he doesn't think his estranged mother's death was an accident.
