"I think, you know, in the spirit of the Bikers, Dave would want me to continue to have fun and to educate, to inform, to enlighten, to be slightly edgy. In fact, I don't think, I know that he'd want that for me," he said.
"I miss him. It's my duty to look after his memory and to look after the legacy that he built, to look after the legacy of the Hairy Bikers that we both built.
"At the end of our very first series, we didn't know what the future held, but we both knew we'd end up doing it together."

The special episode included archive footage, new interviews and previously unseen clips of the duo, as well as offering an inside look at the special memorial journey for Myers in June.
45,000 bikers – led by King – took part in Dave Day, journeying from London to Myers' hometown of Barrow-in-Furness to pay their respects to the late star.
The ride was King's last as a Hairy Biker as he officially closed the chapter on the double act's 25-year career.

"It was a very humbling experience," King recalled. "What a beautiful moment that was, an affirmation of a wonderful man."
Myers and King met in a pub in Newcastle in 1992, while they were both working behind-the-scenes in television. King was an assistant director and Myers was a make-up artist.
After bonding over their shared love of culture, food, music and motorcycles, the pair became instant friends and decided to make a TV pilot of their first road trip together.
They went on to host 30 television series for BBC One, BBC Two, Channel 5 and Good Food, and wrote 27 cookbooks.
