Taskmaster star Rose Matafeo will be filming a live comedy special later this year.

The comedian has announced a three-week headlining run at the Arcola Theatre in London this October, leading up to the filming of her new special.

Fans get tickets to her 'On and On and On' performance in London at The Royal College of Music’s Britten Theatre on October 26, 2024 for £15 each. Please note these are general admission tickets with unreserved seating.

Two performances will be filmed on the night, with premiere details for the special to be announced in due course.

Rose will also be headlining a sold-out run of shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where she previously won the prestigious Comedy Award for Best Show in 2018.

The comic recently released the third season of her hit comedy series Starstruck on BBC Three, and will next be returning to the world of Taskmaster.

It has been announced that she will stand in for Greg Davies as the main host of Junior Taskmaster, alongside Mike Wozniak as her assistant.

"To be appointed as Junior Taskmaster is one of the greatest honours of my already wildly successful career," Rose said of landing the hosting role.

"I am greatly looking forward to the power going to my head."

Junior Taskmaster is aimed at children aged between 9 and 11. Rose and Mike will hand out all manner of hilarious tasks for its young contestants just like the original.

Rose competed in the ninth series of the adult version of Taskmaster, where she finished as runner-up to winner Ed Gamble.

Taskmaster airs and streams on Channel 4, where you can also stream previous series.
