LEGO has unveiled two new Formula 1-inspired helmet collectibles co-designed by McLaren stars Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, as the team prepares to celebrate its landmark 1,000th Grand Prix.
Created in partnership with McLaren Racing, the new LEGO Editions helmet sets mark one of Formula 1's biggest milestones, with the brick-built designs also serving as the inspiration for the special helmets Norris and Piastri will wear on track during the Monaco race weekend.
In a first for the collection, both sets include LEGO minifigure versions of the drivers, giving fans the chance to add the McLaren pair to their display shelves.
The LEGO Editions McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team Oscar Piastri Helmet (43017) (£79.99) combines the team's iconic papaya orange with the Australian driver's signature blue colour scheme. The 793-piece set features details inspired by McLaren's special 1,000th-race livery, alongside Piastri's race number, a printed signature plaque and an exclusive minifigure.

Meanwhile, the LEGO Editions McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team Lando Norris Helmet (43023) (£79.99) recreates the British racing star's instantly recognisable fluorescent helmet design. Also made up of 793 pieces, the set incorporates elements from McLaren's anniversary livery, a brick-built version of Norris's driver number and a unique minifigure display.

The collectibles were developed through a close collaboration between LEGO designers, McLaren Racing and the drivers themselves, with the finished models ultimately becoming the blueprint for the real-life helmets set to hit the streets of Monte Carlo this weekend.
