The Sims 4's first expansion for 2025, Businesses & Hobbies, is out now and there's a good launch deal for it.
The pack – which lets Sims create and run a small business as well as get into tattooing and pottery – is available on the usual platforms.
Expansion packs are usually £34.99 each. However, on CDKeys, a Businesses & Hobbies EA App code for PC can be purchased for £25.99 in the UK, representing a saving of £9.00 (25% off).

For Simmers in the US, the pre-order price is currently $29.99 (25% off).
After making the purchase, you can expect to receive your EA App code via email. This code can be redeemed via the EA App (open your Library, then click on Redeem Code) or via ea.com/redeem.
The new expansion makes owning a small business a customisable experience. By deciding what activities happen on the lot and who the target customers are, Sims can run anything from a café or bar to a gym or comedy club.

It also offers expanded gameplay for its two new skills, Tattooing and Pottery.

Tattoo Paint Mode is an improved system for creating tattoo art, with custom designs able to be shared on the gallery. Meanwhile, a new pottery wheel and kiln lets Sims create vases, tea sets, incense burners, and more.
It means Sims can run tattoo and pottery studios should they want to, as well as classes and lectures to share their expertise.
There's also a new world, Nordhaven, to enjoy.
Small business owners can hire up to three employees and assign them tasks and adjust their salaries. Meanwhile, a perks tree has three categories for owners to spend points in: Dreamer, Neutral, and Schemer. New traits include Idealist and Shady.

It's been a busy period for the franchise, as it is celebrating its 25th anniversary. At the end of last month, the iconic first two games were re-released with all expansions included and compatible with Windows 10 and 11.
Players have been reporting technical issues, and the team has been rolling out patches as a result.
