The Sims 4's next expansion pack has been revealed, with the first look coming tomorrow.

On social media, EA shared a new roadmap for the period from February to May titled the Motherlode season, and confirmed that Businesses & Hobbies will be the game's 18th expansion.

Key dates for the expansion were given.

On February 6, we will get the first look – presumably in the form of a trailer and a description. Then, on February 18, there will be a gameplay deep dive.

Finally, March 6 is the date that the expansion launches.

That's not all, as Simmers can expect a surprise on February 25. No details were revealed, but the roadmap teased by using an eyes emoji underneath that date.

It's been a busy period for the franchise, as it celebrates its 25th birthday. Last week, the first two games were re-released on PC with all of their expansions included and compatible with Windows 10 and 11.

Players have been reporting technical issues, and EA has responded yesterday by rolling out the first patches for the Legacy Collections.

"We wanted to say thank you to the community for sharing your detailed reports via the forum to help us improve these games," it said in the patch notes.

"While some issues may not be listed here, they may still be in the process of being addressed."

EA also confirmed last month that MySims: Cozy Bundle, featuring re-releases of MySims and MySims Kingdom, will make its way to PC on March 18, having previously launched on Nintendo Switch.

Yesterday, a large number of new items were added to The Sims 4 for free.

The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox.
