AsNeighbours fans gear up for the return of legendary character Izzy Hoyland (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) in a dramatic late-night special, Karl Kennedy star Alan Fletcher has revealed how long she'll be back for.
Last seen in 2007, homewrecker Izzy is heading home to cause even more trouble for Karl and Susan Kennedy's marriage, leaving the much-loved couple at odds once again.
"It will be five weeks of packed drama with her being here and quite surprising stuff," Fletcher told The West Australian.
"That particular story, the Karl-Izzy triangle with Susan was just a landmark story and I think it deserves that special attention," he added.
"Even all these years later it is very often the story that people talk to me about," added Jackie Woodburne (Susan Kennedy).
Digital Spy recently interviewed Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who revealed her character will be even more hated this time around, ten years after she was last seen on Ramsay Street.

"If you loved to hate her before, you're going to love to hate her even more this time around. It's next level stuff – you won't believe what she can conjure up in her head," she teased.
"Her intentions come from a place of naivety, but they are also quite skewed in a very bizarre way. She needs a reality check but that's just Izzy being Izzy," Natalie added.
Neighbours airs Izzy's return on Monday, February 12 at 10pm on Channel 5.
