Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson has responded to a new report that she's set to join the cast of The Only Way is Essex after her documentary earlier this year where she discussed her twin daughters' Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
The Sun claimed that Essex girl Jesy, who won The X Factor as part of her former group in 2011, was set to go into "advanced talks" to join the show, and has been teasing the prospect by posting classic TOWIE moments on her Instagram.
Jesy's latest Instagram Story about this show addresses the report, and it's a flat-out denial.

"Well this is the first I'm hearing of this," she wrote with a laughing emoji.
"I can confirm I am defo not joining the cast of Towie. I just like to watch it."

She finished off her Story by adding a facepalm emoji.
We're sure she'd be welcome if she changed her mind, but there's no plans for it to happen any time soon.

In her Prime Video documentary from earlier this year, Jesy spoke about her decision to leave Little Mix in December 2020, one month after their album Confetti came out.
She also talked about her difficult high-risk pregnancy with her twins, Ocean and Story, that was complicated by Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome and saw them born prematurely at 31 weeks and five days.
After she talked about SMA in her documentary, Jesy launched a petition calling for screening to be introduced for newborn babies across the whole of the UK, and it reached more than 150,000 signatures.
Just this week, MPs debated SMA testing in Parliament, and Jesy posted about her frustrations that the potentially life-saving procedure is rolling out in different places at different times as part of a staggered launch.
She said on Instagram: "You are basically telling me that if you live in a certain postcode, you're not as important. It's outrageous."
The Only Way is Essex airs on ITV2.
