Jane and Byron start to worry about Amanda's memory issues. Byron offers to raise the issue with Amanda to see if she'll get tested. He tries to get close to Amanda by offering to help her with her banking work, but this leaves Darcy worried that his fraud will be exposed.
Darcy manipulates Amanda by falsely suggesting that her family are trying to take her money. Amanda takes this on board and rejects Byron's offer of help. Later, Darcy continues to spin a complicated web by telling Amanda's family that he's worried about her mental health.
Meanwhile, Karl meets up with Tess Bell, who reveals that she was married to Darcy after leaving Ramsay Street but divorced him after two terrible years. Tess warns that Darcy was the same old villain and he still owes her money. When Karl tells Susan, the conversation is overheard by Darcy.
Elsewhere, Taye reactivates his side hustle with Lydia, but Aaron is starting to get suspicious.
