Neighbours fans will see Paul Robinson left fearful today (December 23) as his killer son Robert gets a temporary release from prison.
Paul (Stefan Dennis) has made a deal with the devil after Robert agreed to donate a kidney to his half-brother David Tanaka, who's seriously ill in hospital.
Monday's episode sees Karl Kennedy announce that Robert's latest tests are looking good, making it more certain than ever that he'll become a donor as planned.
Although this is good news for most of the family, Paul is already starting to regret getting Robert (Adam Hunter) involved – certain that he has opened Pandora's Box.

Soon enough, Robert arrives at the hospital, where he meets Aaron Brennan and Leo Tanaka for the first time.

He also gets his first chance for a conversation with David – and is clearly on his best behaviour as they talk.
Robert's charm offensive works wonders, as some members of the family start to wonder whether he's seeking redemption for his past crimes by trying to save David.
Paul urges his loved ones not to start romanticising Robert's intentions, pointing out that he's a master manipulator and that everyone needs to keep their guards up.

The businessman also starts to make plans for what will happen with Robert after the operation is complete.
Paul has agreed to help Robert get transferred to a low-security prison, but will he really follow through with his promise?
