Mackenzie is doing her best to reason with Cash but he's not having it. Fed up with everything, she leaves Salt in Xander's capable hands and steps out for a breather. Xander takes over, coaxing Cash away from messing with the order of things more than he already has.

That's when Xander has a bright idea. He finds Mackenzie later and raises a question: what if he bought Cash out? Then Xander and Mackenzie would be partners, just like Felicity was. Mackenzie appreciates Xander's enthusiasm, but tells him there's no way Cash would be up for it.

Meanwhile, having almost fully recovered, Abigail is in high spirits. Levi and Eden are relieved. However, it's one stressor after the next for the Fowlers. They congregate outside Cash's place so Eden can grab a few things. Eden is hopeful that she can talk to her ex-fiancé, but he gives her the cold shoulder.

Levi confronts him: it's understandable that Cash is hurting, but how he's treating Eden is not okay. Cash dishes it back – at least Levi gets a chance to patch things up with his sisters. He doesn't.

What's worse, Abigail is being strangely hostile to Remi and she doesn't seem to be too fond of Kirby, either. Abigail refuses to stay with Remi and explains her reasoning to Levi. She feels like Remi was the one who took Eden away from her when Lyrik got started – and with Levi working all day, Abigail feels like she was completely left behind. Levi feels for his sister, and offers her a solution: she can crash at his and Mackenzie's place for now. The problem is, he hasn't told Mackenzie about this at all.

Eden shows up for work at Salt and Cash tenses visibly. They have a back and forth clash about each other's presence, but Eden doubles down. She points out that it's her job and she has every right to be here. Cash says nothing and walks off into the store room. Feeling like the walls are closing in around him, he starts to hyperventilate. How is he going to cope?
