Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Tuesday’s episode (April 8), which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Hollyoaks has aired an unexpected attack on one of the show’s most popular characters, as the harrowing exploitation storyline continues.
Grace Black and Rex Gallagher are currently working with corrupt copper DI Banks on a criminal operation which involves the sexual exploitation of teenagers Dillon and Frankie.
However, Grace and DI Banks are currently at loggerheads after Rex almost exposed their scheme, so in today’s episode, Grace decided to steal his clients and host a party behind his back.
The pair are still holding Robbie hostage, thinking that he is the mole in the operation. Rex had doubts, but Grace asked him to try and get Robbie to talk one last time.

Rex questioned innocent Robbie again, but he was naturally unable to share anything, even when he threatened Lexi’s life.
He gave up and handed a shovel to ‘Ben’ to get rid of Robbie – but Ben is actually undercover police officer Dodger, and once alone, he pledged to get a shocked Robbie to safety.
Back in the village, Rex invited Dillon and Frankie to Grace’s party at The Loft. The teens decided to go, but it is clear that they are both deeply affected by their experiences with the clients.

Dodger also secretly returned to the village to ask Maxine for her car, desperate to help Robbie escape in time. But he was sidetracked when he came face to face with his twin Sienna and his dad Jez.
He got the keys to Maxine’s car, but Rex returned to Robbie first. When Robbie asked about Dodger, Rex realised that his colleague isn’t who he says he is. He went to the party and reported back to Grace, who obviously recognised the name – which could spell big trouble for Dodger.
Meanwhile, Grace urged Dillon and Frankie to charm the guests and pushed a new client in Dillon’s direction.

Dillon was uncomfortable and turned him down, and when he didn’t take no for an answer, Frankie stepped in to defend her friend and hit the client.
Later, Dillon was brutally beaten up while heading home from the club, and it was revealed that DI Banks had paid someone to do it.

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
