Hollyoaks star Charlie Clapham has spoken about his character Freddie Roscoe's future beyond the show's one-year time jump.
Freddie will be among the characters sticking with the soap after its timeline jumps forward by 12 months in September.
Charlie reprised the role of Freddie earlier this year after being away from Hollyoaks since 2017.
He recently spoke to us about what's next for his character while taking part in a photoshoot for the Inside Soap Awards 2024.

Speaking about recent changes to Hollyoaks, Charlie enthused: "It's been hectic, it's been jam-packed. We have some exciting stunts planned, and it's been well-reported about the time jump, which should be a really exciting vehicle to tell a bunch of different stories and move the show on.
"It will almost feel like it's a new show. It's a new beginning, a new format – it's exciting.
"I've been really enjoying some of the stuff we've been shooting recently, and you just can't take a breath!"

Hollyoaks' upcoming changes tie in with the show reducing its weekly output from five episodes to three in the autumn.
This decision has secured the show's future in a multiyear deal with Channel 4.
Asked if Freddie's life will look different after the one-year jump, Charlie laughed: "I don't think Freddie will ever really change! I think he's always going to be an adrenaline junkie, addicted to those high-impact experiences, which makes him such a fun character to play.
"I think he just gets more stylish, cooler, a bit of a better dad. He gets more grounded. I'm also growing older with him; hopefully, they don't age me up a year!
"But I'm really enjoying it. He's a character that just keeps on giving."

Charlie has secured a nomination in the Best Actor category this year after his involvement in some high-stakes action storylines recently.
"It's genuinely overwhelming being nominated for Best Actor this year," he told us.
"I've been back on the show on screen for three or four months. I've had the best time of my life. I give it my absolute everything. I care about the show so much and all of the people that work on it.
"To be representing us at the Inside Soap Awards, alongside some great talent and wonderful nominees, is just an absolute honour."
Asked why fans should vote for Hollyoaks, he added: "It's just the best show! It's the sexiest-looking show, we shoot single camera, which is boring technical stuff, but it's like a movie every single week.
"There's no better time to drop back in it right now. Especially in September when we flash forward a year. It's the best it's ever been right now."
