Hollyoaks star Anna Passey teases "off the charts" autumn stunt

Hollyoaks star Anna Passey has teased the soap's big upcoming stunt this autumn, admitting it will be "off the charts".

The soap is currently filming the scenes, and while details remain under wraps for the time being, the Sienna Blake actress revealed that there is a "really exciting atmosphere" on the show's set.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Anna was asked whether she is involved in the stunt, replying: "I can't say as of yet whether I am involved in it or not, but it's definitely happening.

"The whole of the site has been busy in prep for it, so there has been a really exciting atmosphere on set," the star added.

"It's going to be absolutely off the charts great! We're having a good end-of-year here at Hollyoaks. As we move into autumn, we've got some really exciting things coming up. I think the audience are just going to love it."

Of course, stunts usually mean we have to say goodbye to characters, which raises worries among viewers.

"It always has that about it," Anna admitted. "They're always bittersweet, because everybody wants to do them, everybody wants to be in them. It's the event of the year, but you also know that there'll end up being some casualties. We don't like that!

"It's always a tense time waiting for it to come out, but for me if Sienna was going to go, a stunt would be the way because you want to get all the good stuff in on your way out!

"It's bittersweet but this one in particular, I think the audience are going to be thrilled with it because it's going to be really exciting."

Hollyoaks now streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
