Hollyoaks hunk Sylver McQueen has a nasty surprise in store for his wife Mercedes next week.
Sylver (David Tag) unwittingly stops Mercedes in her tracks, just as she's plotting to leave the village with her secret lover Liam Donovan.
Viewers know that Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) has spent the summer betraying Sylver by sleeping with Liam.
With the relationship getting more serious by the day, upcoming episodes see Mercedes tempted to wave goodbye to her current life and start afresh elsewhere with Liam.

Tonight's E4 episode (August 23) sees Mercedes become heartbroken when her son Bobby continues to express a new-found dislike for her.
