Tonight's episode of Hollyoaks (March 25) saw Sally St Claire call off her wedding with Myra McQueen after discovering that she'd cheated on her.
Preparing for her double ceremony with Mercedes and Sylver, Myra was horrified to see Stevie Scaramouch – the man she shared an adulterous kiss with last week – arrive at the venue after Sally unwittingly booked him as the DJ.
Myra rushed to the toilets to have a bit of a panic, but was soon consoled by Scott and Nana, who convinced her to put the kiss behind her and go ahead with the wedding. What they didn't realise was that Sally was in another cubicle and heard the whole conversation.
Before the ceremony began, the couples received a video message from John Paul, who showed them a drawing from his son Matthew and told them how happy he was to see his parents back together again. Sally was moved to tears and seemingly decided that she would marry Myra after all.
However, after watching Mercedes and Sylver exchange vows – Liam failed in his attempt to ruin their marriage – Sally looked visibly upset. She stood up and told Myra she doesn't know who she is anymore, before walking out in tears.
Crying outside, Sally told Myra that she heard everything in the toilets and that she didn't believe she wanted to be married to a woman – she just wanted a wedding. Myra tried to plead with her, but it was too late, Sally called off the wedding.
