Ahead of its latest explosive issue-based storyline, Hollyoaks has released a trailer for Ste Hay's upcoming radicalisation arc – and it's a good'un.

The special far-right episode will air later this month, and will show Ste fall deeper into extremism after being groomed by newcomer Jonny Baxter and his group of 'friends'.

Teasing inexcusable violence, deception, and a desperate plea from Tony that falls on deaf ears, this brand new 'Oaks trailer promises a game-changing plot ahead.

Shortly after the soap's special episode was announced, Digital Spy learned that Kieron Richardson had deleted his Twitter account to avoid any distractions.

A Hollyoaks source explained: "As Kieron was being tagged into negative posts about Ste, he decided that he didn't want to be distracted by them while he works on such an important storyline.

"The last thing he wants to do is filter or compromise his performance because of something he's read online."

In the unfolding story, Ste will be groomed and radicalised by a far-right gang, as Jonny (Ray Quinn) and Stuart Sumner (Chris Simmons) exploit his existing feud with the Maalik family.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
