Hollyoaks airs Gary Lucy's return scenes later this month as he briefly reprises his role as Luke Morgan.
Gary has left the Channel 4 soap to concentrate on his commitments to the UK tour of The Full Monty, but he's expected to make a handful of guest appearances for key storyline moments in the coming weeks.
Upcoming episodes see Luke's estranged wife Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) finally tell her partner Darren Osborne the truth about how their unborn child possibly has spina bifada, a condition where a baby's spine and spinal cord doesn't develop properly in the womb.
Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) is upset that Mandy hid this from him for two weeks, but Nancy and Jack convince him to put this to one side and focus on supporting Mandy when she needs him the most.

The next day, Darren joins Mandy for a scan at the hospital, where the doctor confirms that the baby does have spina bifada.
