Tonight's Emmerdale episode gave the fans what wanted, as it wrapped up with Chas Dingle proposing to Paddy Kirk.
It was particularly heartwarming because the pair had fallen out badly yesterday over Paddy not wanting to raise their child in the pub while Chas wanted to stay put in The Woolpack.
However, the two were brought together by a baby scan that was so emotional, it left the soap's own Twitter account "A BIG CRYING MESS!".
Earlier in the episode, Chas appeared unwell due to her extreme morning sickness, but Paddy put her mind at ease as they anxiously waited for the scan together.
The two were then tearful as they learnt that the baby had a strong and healthy heartbeat, and they had the chance to see their baby for the first time ever.
