Emmerdale star Natalie J Robb has revealed which of her classic soap scenes she feels "really embarrassed" by.

The actor has been playing Moira Dingle since 2009, although the character obviously wasn't always part of the Dingle clan.

Moira was originally married to John Barton, before having an affair with Cain, who she would later go on to marry and have a tempestuous relationship (which is still going strong) with.

In an interview with Hospital Radio Reading, Robb stated that she struggles to watch those early intimate scenes with Cain actor Jeff Hordley.

"The first kissy-wissy scenes, the romantic scenes, I couldn't even watch it now, it makes me go red," she said.

"It's quite raunchy! And for its time, you just think, 'Oh my goodness'. Somebody sent me it a few years ago and I got really embarrassed and I had to turn [it off]. I literally blushed.

She explained that she was still quite new to the soap at the time, and didn't really know Hordley very well then.

Both actors stated that it was a huge shock to learn that their characters would be having an affair, and wondered what the producers saw in the idea of them together that she didn't.

Given how long Moira and Cain have lasted as a couple (despite their many, many bumps in the road), it's safe to say the producers at the time were onto something.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX and YouTube.
