Emmerdale's Dan Spencer fears for his future next week as he's formally charged over a violent attack on new villain Lloyd.
Dan makes a terrible mistake in this week's scenes, punching Lloyd when he spots the sleazy character back in the village.
In recent days, Dan has grown concerned over the safety of his teenage daughter Amelia after Lloyd befriended her online.
Amelia exchanged messages with Lloyd as part of her online influencer career, under the impression that she was talking to a woman. Lloyd later turned up at Mandy Dingle's salon and terrified Amelia by cornering her when she was alone.

When Dan punches his new enemy this week, there are disastrous consequences as Lloyd has to be rushed to hospital.
Early next week, Amelia warns Dan not to make things any worse, as Lloyd continues to face an uncertain future.
Ignoring this advice, Dan turns up at the hospital to check on Lloyd. While there, he meets Lloyd's wife Julie.
Later, Dan is summoned back down to the police station for further questioning. He's alarmed to hear that his unwelcome visit to the hospital hasn't helped his case.

DS Giles also warns Dan that they've found nothing on Lloyd's electronic devices to suggest that he has broken any laws. This limits Dan's options when it comes to defending his attack.
The pressure increases on Dan when DS Giles challenges him to tell the truth.
Dan continues to defend himself, but he's devastated and scared when he's formally charged with GBH.
