Jai Sharma has vowed revenge over the drugs discovery in Emmerdale.
This week, Jai joined forces with Laurel and the rest of the HOP workers in striking against Kim Tate's unfair conditions after being demoted himself for not ending the industrial action soon enough.
There was a questionable scene in Wednesday's (April 27) episode when Kim turned up for an impromptu wedding planning appointment with Priya while she was in the middle of chatting with Jai.

Kim complained about Jai joining the picket line, then knocked his coat to the floor as she took his seat. When Jai met up with Laurel later, he realised his wallet was missing from his coat.

Laurel found the wallet down the back of one of Priya's chairs — along with a packet of drugs! Jai was insistent that the drugs had "nothing to do" with him, but Laurel and Priya wouldn't believe him.
"Laurel, please, this isn't how it looks," Jai begged, before Laurel shot him down: "How did I know you were going to say that?"
After Laurel announced they were "done", Jai guessed that Kim must have set him up when they were in the wedding planning office earlier in the day as revenge for negotiating away from zero-hour contracts at the HOP.
Jai tried to get Priya to help him convince Laurel about his theory, but Priya admitted: "Jai, it's you who I'm worried about. If you have relapsed, you know I'm here for you, right?"
With his sister and partner now both doubting him, Jai was left boiling — but with no actual proof Kim was the one who set him up. Jai swore revenge on Kim over once again throwing his life into chaos.
"She is not getting away with this," Jai vowed.

The truth may not be quite as simple as Jai suspects, as upcoming scenes will reveal that it's actually Leyla Harding who has developed a worrying drug habit.
