Kim Tate has stunned partner Will Taylor with her latest cunning move in Emmerdale.

The two have been back on solid ground in recent weeks following a rocky Christmas period where Kim called out Will in front of the entire family for his flirtation with Bernice Blackstock.

Will later proved his loyalty to Kim by offering his grandmother's antique ring and insisting he still wanted to marry her in spite of what she'd done at Christmas.

All throughout the episode, it was teased that Kim was the mystery bidder on the Woolpack, but this turned out to be a giant red herring. Charity Dingle and Ryan Stocks were actually the new buyers.

Kim did have something brewing, revealing that she'd eventually made a huge purchase of her own. She had bought out Charity's stake in Jimmy King's new hauling company to make Will his partner!

Her gesture towards Will had unexpected consequences when he admitted he was furious she'd made this decision without even consulting him.

"Rich woman buys her fiancé something to keep him occupied while she flies to Dubai," Will grumbled. "Yeah, why don't you just geld me?... I've already got a job. You bought the toy, you play with it!

"Because I ain't going anywhere near that haulage company!"

Kim was left staggered over Will's furious reaction to her acquisition – and bitter he hadn't shown her gratitude for putting him in this important job.

Will the couple be able to rebound from this latest setback?
