Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Aaron Dingle had some choice words for Liv Flaherty in tonight's episode as the pair continued to clash over the former's new boyfriend Ben Tucker.
In tonight's (July 26) instalment of the ITV soap, Ben (Simon Lennon) tried to make amends with Liv (Isobel Steele) for using her drink dependency as a way to convince Aaron that she hadn't seen him put his alcoholic father Warren in a taxi a few days ago.
Later, Aaron (Danny Miller) attempted to convince Ben to cut ties with his dad, insisting that it would probably help them both in the long run if he stopped paying all of his bills and forced him to stand on his own two feet.

Taking what Aaron said into consideration, Ben vowed to tell his pops that he won't be bankrolling him so much in the future and explained to Aaron that with the little bit of extra cash he'll have now, he'll be able to afford a place of his own.

Confused, Aaron quizzed Ben on why he didn't want to stay with him and Liv, to which the latter replied: "She needs you right now, Aaron, just like I need to deal with my demons. I can't be around another alcoholic 24/7."
"I can't believe I thought you might want to live together," Aaron clapped back, visibly embarrassed before storming off back home.
Barging through the front door, Aaron then took his anger out on Liv, criticising her for being lazed out on the sofa in the middle of the day before outright blaming her for Ben not wanting to officially move in.
"It's not occurred to you that he might just not be interested in you?" she barked back. "Come on, Aaron. Your boyfriend doesn't want to play house and then suddenly it's my fault? I'm not exactly a full-blown alchie, am I?"
"Are you seriously trying to turn this around on me?" Aaron shouted. "So throwing a bottle of vodka at me, and trying to kick me out of the house is fair game, is it? What about when you hit Vinnie and you made me pick up the pieces? Or when you ran off to your mum's and let me think you were dead?
"All drinking does to you is make you self-obsessed and nasty! If you push someone far enough, they'll eventually snap," he warned.

"Am I supposed to be bothered by this?" Liv shot back before Aaron accused her of not being interested in trying to get better.
"So write me off," Liv told him. "Write me off and save us both the aggro."
"Like you've done to yourself already, you mean?" Aaron replied. "You saw how far gone Ben's dad was yesterday, you saw how cut up Ben was trying to deal with it, how trapped he feels.
"You carry on the way you're going, and that's going to be me and you in a few years."
"Ben's not the only one who feels trapped – that's exactly how I feel about you!" Aaron continued.
"You know what, I'm not going to be the victim anymore, that's why I'm washing my hands of you. From now on, Liv, you're on your own."
As Aaron stormed out, Liv was left to contemplate his words as the episode ended.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
