Emmerdale's Luke and Wendy Posner were worrying about their future as Jamie Tate told them he was evicting them in order to give his estranged wife Andrea and daughter Millie a place to move into.
In tonight's (October 8) episode, Luke discovers Jamie unconscious on the floor after his drunken fall, and opts to help him out using his medical training (we imagine, we didn't see it because that would involve contact).
But Jamie doesn't turn around and decide to reverse his decision.

It was actually Wendy who managed to turn their fortunes around, as she opened up to Andrea about how Jamie was throwing them out for her sake. She said she wouldn't let that happens and would find somewhere else.
In the end, they all reached a different decision: Andrea and Millie would move in with Luke and Wendy, with them providing some free childcare and freedom from guilt as part of the deal.

Luke actor Max Parker recently confirmed he was in a relationship with Kris Mochrie, who played Luke's on-screen brother Lee Posner until his character's death.
Emmerdale airs weekday nights at 7pm on ITV, with hour-long episodes usually airing Thursday nights (although it wasn't tonight because of the football).
