Emmerdale villain DI Malone hinted at a shock kidnapping tonight (August 14) as he threatened Dawn Taylor.
The corrupt copper returned to the village in tonight's scenes to stir things up with Harriet once again, eager to find out if she'd come clean to Will about their affair.
After a brief confrontation with Harriet in the street, Dawn caught wind and immediately warned off the corrupt copper.

Her confidence soon waned, however, as Malone reminded her just how dangerous he is, going as far to threaten her young son Lucas.
Refusing to be intimidated, Dawn headed straight to the police station to report Malone to PC Swirling.

Dawn revealed all about Malone's history with her dad and his recent threatening behaviour towards her family, prompting Swirling to invite her inside the station for a proper interview.

Later on, Harriet attempted to come clean to Will about her affair with Malone, but she didn't get the opportunity as Will headed straight out to reunite Lucas with his teddy bear while supposedly staying at a friend's house.
As Dawn returned home, she was greeted by a furious Malone, who'd caught wind of her report at the police station.
The move seriously backfired on her though, as Malone hinted that he'd kidnapped Lucas, and that she'd have to start behaving if she ever wanted to see her son again.
