Emmerdale star Mark Womack has teased a story twist coming for DI Malone and Moira Dingle.
So far, Malone has been causing trouble for Cain Dingle, Billy Fletcher, and Will Taylor, while next week will see the truth revealed over Malone and Harriet's past. But it looks like Moira will soon find herself dragged into the drama.
Speaking to TV Times, Womack – who plays Malone – was asked whether or not he was keeping in touch with his fellow cast members during the lockdown. In response, he listed a few co-stars whom he was still speaking to, before slipping in one last name.
"I text Jeff [Hordley] quite a bit and also Jay [Kontzle] and Dean [Andrews], and I've had conversations with Katherine [Dow Blyton]," he said.
"I don't really work with any others.

"Actually, there is Natalie [J Robb], who plays Moira. She's great. There's a nice little thing brewing for Malone and Moira... There's a little teaser for you!"

During the same interview, Womack revealed that he auditioned for Emmerdale on two previous occasions before landing the role of Malone.
"I can say that originally I went up for the role of Graham [Foster]. Sometimes, you're just not right for the part and with soap, it's got to be the right fit," he shared.
Emmerdale currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV.
