Emmerdale looks set to delve back into the mystery of Vinny's backstory next week.
Vinny (Bradley Johnson) was introduced to the show in January last year as the son of Mandy Dingle, but it was later revealed that they're not biologically related.
The ITV soap has kept fans in the dark over the finer details of Vinny's history and how he ended up with Mandy (Lisa Riley), while the Dingles have remained unaware of the truth.
Next week, Vinny finds himself at the centre of a Dingle scandal after Sam's ring goes missing.

Vinny is blamed for the incident and faces accusations that he pawned the piece of jewellery for some quick cash.

The suspicion follows Vinny's involvement in Mandy's previous cash cons, so it seems that his reputation is counting against him.
Amid all the bickering, though, it's not long before the Dingles learn something else about Vinny as a bombshell is dropped.

Emmerdale bosses recently announced plans to introduce former Coronation Street actor Reece Dinsdale in the role of Paul, a blast from Mandy's past who'll be stirring up life for her and Vinny.
Speaking last month, Reece commented: "I'm absolutely delighted to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. Having recently directed a couple of episodes, and seen at close quarters the superb work the cast, crews and creatives produce, I can't wait to become part of the team once again... albeit in a different capacity. Time to get my acting boots back on!"
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
