Emmerdale's Marlon Dingle angrily turns his back on his family after being released from prison.
In scenes airing next week, the newly-released Marlon (Mark Charnock) is initially encouraged by the support from his friends. However, things start to go downhill when he learns that April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) has received a text from a bully calling him a "murderer".
April tries to shrug the text off, even though it's clearly affecting her.

Marlon feels guilty, and attempts to reassure his daughter by saying that real friends are loyal and trustworthy.
Later, Marlon is furious when he finds out that Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Ryan Stocks (James Moore) were the ones who stole Kim Tate's money. Marlon makes Charity reveal the truth – in front of the other Dingles – that she held information that could have seen Marlon released from prison earlier.

Marlon then learns that Kim may have hired somebody to kill Graham Foster, which only makes him more incredulous.
He reaches boiling point at the Woolpack, demanding that Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) move out and declaring that he's done with the Dingles.
Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, March 2 on ITV.
