Tonight's episode (December 20) of Emmerdale has hinted that Aaron Dingle's breakdown storyline may not be over just yet.
Last night's double bill saw Aaron left heartbroken after discovering that Victoria had received a letter from his estranged husband Robert, who previously decided to break communication with him after moving prisons.

Aaron appeared to be back on an even keel in tonight's opening scenes, promising to forget about Robert's latest snub and focus on "what's important" – his little sister Liv Flaherty. However, it soon became clear that he's still not coping as he attempted to distract himself by hooking up with a random guy.
After sleeping with the guy, Aaron kicked him out and was visibly upset as he took a look at the letter Robert sent Victoria – which didn't mention him at all. Struggling to hold back his tears, he screwed up the letter in frustration.
Aaron's clearly still struggling to come to terms with his separation with Robert, but will he be able to open up about it?
