Emmerdale fans were left devastated tonight (November 1) as Ryan Hawley made his final appearance as Robert Sugden.
In tonight's heartbreaking scenes, Robert was told that he's going to be transferred to a prison on the Isle of Wight, with him having no say in the matter.
Unaware of this development, Aaron Dingle paid Robert a visit in prison where the two of them had a heart-to-heart. However, Robert couldn't bring himself to tell Aaron about his change of prison.
As we already know, next week's scenes will see Robert put a moratorium on receiving any visitors, meaning tonight's episode is the last time Aaron will get to see his husband.
Fans have passionately backed Robron's romance over the years, so they were naturally devastated to see them torn apart, seemingly for good.
One viewer tweeted: "Never thought I’d be crying to see Robert leaving! He’s become such a loveable character and now he’s gone #robron"
