Tonight's (October 9) Emmerdale saw Vanessa Woodfield let out of the police station following her arrest, and she's had time to mull over what she plans to do about Kerry and Amy Wyatt.
Last week, Tracy Metcalfe found out that Amy and Kerry were responsible for causing the factory fire that killed her father Frank Clayton, before telling Vanessa and Charity Dingle.
Vanessa lashed out during an argument with the pair, leading to her arrest, but tonight she revealed she wouldn't go to the police, as much as she wanted to punish them.
Her reasoning is that Amelia sees Kerry as a mother figure and that if the Wyatts tell the police about the attack then Tracy will go to prison too and will struggle to cope in there.

Kerry and Amy thanked Vanessa for keeping the secret, but Vanessa responded that she will never let them forget their actions.
