Emmerdale's Doug Potts will finally be caught red-handed over his cannabis secret.
Lately, characters have been noticing the scent of cannabis around the village and have been pointing fingers at who the mystery smoker could be. In fact, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) wrongly accused Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) recently.
Of course, Doug (Duncan Preston) is the one who has been smoking cannabis to help with his back pain, and he will be found out in scenes airing next week.

As Charity (Emma Atkins) continues to speak out and campaign against drugs, Doug is left nervous and riddled with guilt and paranoia. But when Doug later tries to have a secret spliff, Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) catches and confronts him.
It is unknown whether or not Pollard makes public his discovery or if he agrees to keep Doug's identity as the mystery smoker a secret.
