Emmerdale fan favourite Harriet Finch will find herself in a terrifying situation in a new mystery storyline next week.
The village vicar, played by Katherine Dow Blyton, is set to be brutally attacked by a hooded figure in upcoming episodes, which is sure to leave viewers questioning who could be behind the unexpected violence.
Viewers will know that before becoming a vicar, Harriet worked as a private investigator and would have come across some rather unpleasant characters through her job. Could it be a face from Harriet's past out looking for revenge?
Of course, there's every chance that the hooded figure could be linked to someone a little closer to home and prove to be connected to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) after it was confirmed that Harriet and Dawn share their own history at the end of last year.
Dawn was left to fend for herself after Harriet, who Dawn had previously known as Michelle, handed Dawn's drug-dealing father into the police, with Dawn's life spiralling after her father died in prison.
Could the mystery attacker turn out to be a dodgy figure linked to Dawn's tough past?
