EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders' new villain Bea Pollard has set in motion a new plan to drive a wedge between Walford's favourite couple, Honey and Billy Mitchell.

Bea's new scheme ties in with Billy and Honey's lacklustre date night. After they took opposite advice from Nicola Mitchell and Alfie Moon, Honey and Billy didn't get to be intimate as they'd planned.

Thinking Billy wasn't interested in having sex with her, Honey opened up to Bea, who immediately seized the opportunity to drop poison in her ear.

In tonight's (18 June) scenes, Honey brought Billy his lunch at the market, and was thrilled at his proposal to spend time together during his appointments with his wholesalers.

After Honey left, Alfie caught up with his pal, asking about their date.

"I acted like a gentleman," Billy said, insisting he'd been "subtle" not to make Honey feel pressured.

When Alfie suggested Billy might've acted indifferent and hurt Honey, he realised that his wife "did seem a bit off".

An eavesdropping Bea was ready for her next move, teasing Billy for not being enough for her "best friend" Honey.

"I want Honey to be happy. She's my best friend, after all," Bea told Billy.

"You're lucky that she's so forgiving, really..." she added before dashing off to ask Honey to get a drink.

Honey accepted the offer to go for cocktails and vented about her night with Billy, as Bea leveraged on her insecurities.

Feigning to comfort Honey, Bea made up a story about a friend of hers also going through menopause and finding her husband had been cheating on her with a younger woman.

As a disheartened Honey listened on, Bea was ready for her long game to finally pay off. After recording Billy's voice months ago so she could use it for an AI generator, the villain decided this would be the perfect moment to use it.

Using Billy's AI-generated voice, Bea set up his profile on a dating app. Her vile attempts to split Billy and Honey up will come to a head next week when Bea will publicly claim that Billy tried to seduce her. How will Billy defend himself, and will Honey believe Bea?

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
