Avani is strip-searched by two female officers and she refuses the offer to have an appropriate adult in the room. Suki turns up after Jean tells her about the drugs allegations. She's horrified to hear what happened, but Avani won't let her make a complaint.
Later, Priya finds out about Avani being detained and strip searched. She storms over to confront Jack about Avani's ordeal with officers from the police station where he works.
Lily and Amy are also horrified when they discover what happened to her friend, but Avani lashes out at both Suki and Amy.
Once alone at home, though, Avani finally breaks down.
