EastEnders has offered a new look at Phil and Sam Mitchell's revenge plot going wrong.
First-look photos show a disastrous turn of events for the Mitchells in Tuesday's (August 16) episode, when they discover Ben's rapist, Lewis Butler, has escaped from their car boot.
Even worse, Lewis is now armed with Phil's gun and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect himself. The race is now on for Phil and Sam to recapture Lewis before he can do any more harm.

This conflict was set up after Sam Mitchell kidnapped Lewis as a means to get back in her brother Phil's good graces.
Last week, Sam was kicked out of the family for running drugs in Peggy's nightclub with Phil's nemesis Jonah, so she has been desperate to make it up to her brother.

Monday's episode saw Sam contemplating leaving Walford altogether, only to get a last-minute call from Zack Hudson to say that he'd found Ben's rapist Lewis.
The pair then jumped on Lewis and bound him in the boot of a car. Throughout the week, there will be many twists and turns as Phil and Sam rush to find Lewis once again.
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One, with some episodes airing on BBC Two during summer sporting events. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
