EastEnders' Isaac and Lola decide their future

Isaac Baptiste and Lola Pearce have made a big decision about their future in EastEnders.

This week has seen Isaac considering his future after his mum Sheree encouraged him to forget about Lola and move with her back to Trinidad after his latest hospitalisation.

In Friday's episode (August 20), Lola was resigned to losing Isaac as she dropped off his things at Patrick's house. When she mentioned Isaac leaving Walford, she realised Sheree hadn't said anything to Patrick yet.

Lola then started having doubts after realising that Ben Mitchell put up her ex-boyfriend Peter Beale to her visit her as a distraction.

After admitting her feelings to a disapproving Sheree, Lola took the kids over to visit Isaac at the hospital. As the kids headed off to check out the telescope, the former couple were left alone.

Lola finally opened up to Isaac by admitting to him that she didn't want to end their relationship after all because she was in love with him.

Isaac explained that if they were to be together, Lola may have to deal with the reality of him having to seek treatment periodically.

"I can cope with that. I can," Lola insisted. "I wanna be there with you through it all. Anything you need, I love you. If that's what you want."

Isaac took a beat and then kissed Lola after telling her: "I love you."

Unbeknownst to the couple, Sheree had entered and was furious as she watched them embrace.
