Next week on EastEnders, Billy Mitchell will make a huge mistake, ruining Kat's effort to help him get out of the rough patch he is in.
Kat has been trying to help Billy, since he is currently homelesss. In upcoming episodes though, she will turn to desperate measures which will ultimately backfire.

Firstly, Kat offers Billy a place to stay. But she has a bigger plan to get Billy back on his feet.
She uses Phil's money without permission to purchase a rare and expensive record for Billy, and enlists Jay's help to plant the record and pretend to find it.

Later, Kat finds Janet playing the record and comes clean to Billy that it was a lifeline she threw him. She goes to grab it but there is a scratch and the record is ruined.

Back at home, Phil walks in to see Billy in his house and is not too happy with Kat's arrangement as she explains she has offered for Billy to stay with them until he can get back on his feet.
He hasn't had the best day either as he's been fighting for custody of his biological son Raymond, but his plans have been met with unsurprising objections from Denise.
Finding out that Kat used his money to buy the record, Phil hits the roof and orders Billy to leave.
Is Kat going to regret trying to help Billy, and will Billy have to find somewhere else to live?
