EastEnders has teased what's to come storyline-wise once it makes its eagerly anticipated return next week.
The long-running BBC soap has been off air since June, having run out of new episodes due to the coronavirus pandemic affecting production. But on Monday (September 7), fresh material will start to be shown on screen again.

On September 17, it will air at the same time, and – in true soap style – will see both Stuart Highway's and Rainie Branning's respective pre-wedding celebrations hit their own snags, as Ian "tightens the reins" on new landlady Sharon Watts running the Queen Vic.
Finally, on September 18, a 29-minute episode will be screened at 8.30pm and centre on Chantelle Atkins resolving to leave her abusive husband, Gray, having already turned to pal Kheerat Panesar to ensure that she does.
