EastEnders has been airing a series lately called Secrets from the Square in lieu of regular episodes, because the soap had run out of footage due to the industry-wide production shutdown.
That mini-series, which features cast members reminiscing about previous storylines with host Stacey Dooley, is coming to an end in two weeks, and the BBC has announced the final episodes.

There won't be an instalment on Monday, August 31 since it's a Bank Holiday, but Tuesday, September 1 will feature Natalie Cassidy and Shona McGarty talking about the most memorable Sonia Fowler and Whitney Dean moments.
Then, Kat and Stacey Slater actresses Jessie Wallace and Lacey Turner will talk about the legendary family on Thursday, September 3.
Following that, on Friday, September 4, there will be a compilation show that will feature some previously unseen clips and interviews from across the entire Secrets from the Square run.

When the soap does return, one of the storylines will surround Ian Beale and tie into a break that Adam Woodyatt will be taking. An EastEnders insider told Digital Spy: "Ian's going to be off-screen as part of a big storyline. Bosses are keeping tight-lipped, but it's unclear how long it will be."
