EastEnders is lining up a heartbreaking story for Callum Highway as he gets some devastating news next week.
Callum (Tony Clay) will be taking centre stage in next week’s episodes, when his life is turned upside down by a surprise visitor.
When an unknown lady called Vicky arrives in Walford looking for Callum, she reveals that her brother Chris – an ex-army friend of Callum – has died.
As Callum struggles to process the news, he quickly sparks suspicion with his fiancée Whitney when she spots him and Vicky sharing an emotional exchange.
Unable to focus on work in the aftermath, Callum decides to attend Chris’s memorial, but becomes overwhelmed when he arrives and makes a hasty exit.
Back on the Square, Callum attempts to gather his thoughts but is soon confronted by an unimpressed Whitney – who demands to know what’s going on.
