Habiba Ahmed finally revealed the truth about her affair with Adam Bateman in EastEnders on Tuesday (May 7).
One half of the Square's new double act got stuck straight into the drama shortly after arriving, when Habiba started a fling with Adam (Stephen Rahman-Hughes), who was fostered by Habiba's grandparents years ago.
The sisters were nearly dropped in it during Tuesday's episode when Mariam and Arshad made an unannounced return home with Adam. As Habiba and Iqra (Priya Davdra) fumbled to explain how they'd got into their grandparents' house, Adam covered for them by saying he'd let them in.
It looked like Habiba and Iqra were out of trouble, but not for long, because the siblings soon figured out that Habiba's new friend Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) clearly had a reason for questioning her constantly about Adam.
Viewers know that Lola is actually aware of Habiba and Adam's affair, and has been trying to catch them out in order to help Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) win back Adam's partner Honey (Emma Barton).
The heated discussion over Lola led Iqra to put the pieces together that Habiba's relationship with Adam had spiralled totally out of control.

"He's got a girlfriend. What sort of person does that?" a furious Iqra demanded.
Habiba revealed that Adam had been the first person she'd ever slept with, telling her sister: "He never would have slept with me if he didn't love me!"
"Sex rarely means the same thing to two people," Iqra warned her.
Not to be deterred, Habiba insisted that Adam wanted to marry her — although she admitted he hadn't actually asked her or even broached the subject.
A sceptical Iqra later got a sign that Adam might actually have genuine feelings for Habiba during the family dinner later in the episode, when he once again covered for the sisters to explain why their grandparents' TV had gone missing.
But are his feelings for Habiba as strong as she believes?
