EastEnders star Richard Blackwood has opened up once again about the possibility of his character Vincent Hubbard returning.
The actor suggested that while he didn't know if it would happen, it would be a "smart move" for the soap to bring him back after his disappearance last year.
When asked on today's (January 3) Good Morning Britain whether he would return, Richard admitted: "I don't know! I'll be honest, I don't really know.
"I think it's a smart move. I want to go back – EastEnders, I would go back. I've just had a baby on the show – I don't want to be an absentee dad!"
Richard previously revealed that he missed Walford, saying at the Dancing on Ice press launch: "I'm missing it in terms of the good times that I had there and the family I had there.
"But also, I'm happy to watch it from afar and see how it's developing, but you know I'd always go back there. If there is a chance, I'd happily go back. [The door] is slightly ajar, everyone loves a Vincent so I'm happy about that."

During his exit, Vincent was notably kidnapped, though we never actually saw his body on screen, with Richard adding: "No we have not [seen the body], and that's good. I'm not looking for it either! EastEnders has been really good to me."
EastEnders airs Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One, while Dancing on Ice returns to ITV on Sunday, January 6 at 6pm.
