Coronation Street's newest killer Theo Silverton slyly twists the knife this week, as he tries to make Todd Grimshaw feel guilty for Billy Mayhew's death. With the villain desperate to conceal his own role in Billy's tragic fate, will his latest ruthless tactics pay off?
The show has just aired Billy's shocking final scenes in Corriedale, the one-hour crossover event which saw the worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale collide for the very first time.
While fans had hoped that Billy could be Todd's saviour after discovering Theo's evil domestic abuse, a cruel twist of fate ultimately played into Theo's hands and ruined everything.
Billy, Todd and Theo were all in the minibus travelling home from Debbie Webster's wedding when they were caught up in a multi-car crash on a remote road. Theo had a chance to save Billy when the vicar was stuck in the vehicle, but he chose to protect his dark secrets by trapping Billy further and leaving him to die.

In Tuesday's scenes though (6 January), Theo is already overcome with guilt as he watches Todd and Summer Spellman struggle with their grief at the hospital.
Unaware of what really happened, George Shuttleworth heaps praise on Theo for being a "hero" when he tried to save Billy... or so everyone thinks.
Once back at the flat, Todd is terrified when Theo enters. Will Theo's abusive behaviour continue after Todd's failed attempt to flee?
Later in the week, Todd remains consumed with grief at home. Theo steps in, telling Todd that he mustn't blame himself for the terrible turn of events.

"As always, Theo's words are highly deceptive," our Corrie source points out. "Todd was trying to leave the wedding early with Billy when the crash happened. Of course, none of it was his fault – but we've seen in the past how Theo is a master of making Todd doubt himself."
When Summer calls round, she asks Todd and Theo whether she can stay the night. Theo reassures her that she can stay for as long as she likes, but it's clear that he's masking his irritation.
Towards the end of the week, Todd and Summer head to the undertakers to discuss Billy's funeral arrangements with George.
Theo continues to wrestle with his guilt, overwhelmed by the gravity of his evil actions.

Trying his best to mask how he feels, Theo soon comes up with a public gesture and makes himself centre of attention…
"Theo leads the way in raising a toast to Billy at The Rovers," our spy adds. "He makes a seemingly-emotional speech about how Billy lost his life while helping others."
Todd slips away from the gathering, overcome with emotion. Has he abandoned his plan to walk away from Theo after everything that's happened?
Daniel Brocklebank filmed his final scenes for Corrie late last year after playing the role of Billy since 2014.
