Former Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has addressed the prospect of returning as Michelle Connor, saying “never say never”.
The actor appeared on the ITV soap for 13 years before departing in 2019, with the star subsequently landing a role as Nicky Walters on Waterloo Road.
Just over five years on from her Corrie exit, Marsh spoke with The Sun about the potential of reprising her role in the future, sharing that she would be open to the possibility if the opportunity presented itself.

“I'd never say never to going back as I absolutely adore Corrie and I had some of my best years there,” she said.
“I learned so much on that show and I made so many friends. But I left to kind of pursue other projects and I'm still in the middle of doing that, but maybe one day!”

Marsh isn’t the only former Corrie star to discuss the possibility of returning in recent weeks, with Sally Lindsay addressing the potential to reprise her role as Shelley Unwin, whom she played for five years before departing in 2006.
“It has been many years now and I've got my own show and I produce as well, so it's probably not for me,” said Lindsay. “But I absolutely think it's the best thing ever for people to go back, because it's like another world. It's a great job.”

Jordan, who has played Daisy Midgeley since 2020, said of her exit: “My time at Corrie is something I’ll always cherish. After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities.
"It’s been a privilege to be part of a wonderful institution with even more wonderful colleagues who have taught me so much.”
