Coronation Street's villainous Geoff Metcalfe may have lost another ally tonight (August 14), as Faye Windass overheard him throwing a tirade of abuse at Sally Webster.
Alongside her dad Tim (who's Geoff's son), Faye has been one of Geoff's biggest supporters. Tim even called off his wedding to Sally tonight over their disagreements regarding whether or not Geoff had really been abusive and controlling towards his wife Yasmeen.
Tim has come close to seeing Geoff's true colours a few times already, mostly regarding his mother Elaine, although he still doesn't believe what Yasmeen's granddaughter Alya has been saying about his manipulative ways.

After Geoff found out about Tim and Sally's falling out over him, he confronted her in her own home and scathingly told her that Tim will always choose him over her.
Digging the knife in further, he told Sally that Tim was 52% relieved and that she was getting more boring and wrinkly by the day.

Faye, who overheard the conversation on the stairs, made herself known and told her grandad that what he was saying was "horrible" and "dead nasty".

Geoff instantly tried to spin it by stating that Sally had tried to abuse him and destroy his marriage, before laying on the apologies and compliments.
Faye didn't seem to respond to that and escorted him out of the door at Sally's request.
Has she really changed her mind about Geoff, or did she secretly buy his attempts to win her round?
