On tonight's Coronation Street (March 20) Geoff Metcalfe was seen booking escort Rachel again after wife Yasmeen Nazir told him she didn't want to move to Cyprus immediately.
Yasmeen's granddaughter Alya previously dug into Geoff's past and discovered that he and a previous girlfriend called Jocelyn Barrie were charged with causing an affray five years ago.
When Yasmeen confronted him about it, he lashed out at her and stormed out of the house.
Tonight, Yasmeen was left worried about Geoff's whereabouts having not heard from him since he left.
At Speed Daal, she was shocked to overhear Alya on the phone to the police about Geoff, but Alya said she was worried and just wanted to find out who Geoff really is.
But despite everything, Yasmeen still defended him. She said he'd be hurt to know his wife's family were so suspicious of him.

Yasmeen then told Alya she had no business talking about anyone else's taste in men as she previously dated Josh Tucker who raped David Platt.
When Geoff finally returned home, he immediately started making Yasmeen feel guilty. He told her he thought she'd be happier if he never came back.
While trying to reason with him, Yasmeen confessed she thought it was too early for them to move to Cyprus as they hadn't been married that long.
Later at Speed Daal, Geoff told Alya that her "smear campaign" against him had been in vain and added that he and Yasmeen had mutually decided to delay their move to Cyprus.
Then, after Alya went back to serving customers, Geoff used the restaurant phone to call the escort agency and book Rachel again, the same woman he'd been with the night before.
Yasmeen will soon seek to escape Geoff's control, but the coercive control story will sadly take another dark turn.
From next week, Coronation Street will air on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
