Former Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn has revealed her ambition to make it big in Hollywood.
Since leaving her role as Sinead Tinker in the ITV soap last year, Katie hasn't had the best of luck after being forced out of a Peter Pan pantomime due to her health recently.
However, 2020 could mark the turning of the tide for Katie, as she's currently auditioning for big projects across the Atlantic.

She told The Daily Star: "It's going to be an exciting year. I've already had so many wonderful auditions. One was for a big Netflix show, which would be an amazing opportunity. But I can't say too much more.
"I'm also going to LA," Katie added. "I've never been before, but I can do a really good American accent. If it works out, of course, it would be a dream come true. You should always grab any opportunity that comes your way.

Looking to stretch her acting muscles, the star also admitted she'd "love to do comedy" at some point.
"I've a dry sense of humour and would love to do a sitcom – that's why I wanted to do panto because it's basically stand-up on stage."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
